To get an item on the agenda please contact the Planning Office. The deadlines are usually 3 weeks plus the Friday before to schedule for the Planning Commission. For some conditional use requests, the application must be submitted 30 days prior to the Planning Commission meeting. Rezoning requests for Planned Development Districts must be submitted 30 days prior to the Planning Commission meeting.
Planning Commission meetings are held on the fourth Monday at 7:00 pm in the Commission Chambers on the 3rd floor of the Minnehaha County Administration Building and are broadcast on Channel 16 the week after the meeting on Tuesday at 1 pm, Thursday at 8 am, and Saturday 4 am.
